July 26th, 2009 service turned out to be a uplifting worship service as Goodwin made a tribute to Dr. Boyer in song. Leroy Blair, Vanessa Fabien, Shirley Whitaker, Tina Johnson, and the Goodwin Choir sung in remembrance of Dr. Boyer. I myself have not heard him sing, but I heard that he could really lift some spirits with just the touch of the piano. Our prayers go out to the Boyer Family.
