Friday May 2nd the choir was asked to minister at the Quarterly conference in Uncasville, Connecticut held at the Evans Memorial A M E Zion Church.

April 27th was Women’s Day at Goodwin organized by Mother Boyer. “Christian Women Standing on the Promises of God”.
April 13th the choir was asked to sing with the many voices at the Horace Boyer Gospel Fund Benefit Concert “How Sweet the Sound” at Wesley Church in Hadley.
April 12th the choir fundraiser was a Mystery Tour to Boston on a dinner cruise.
The choir was asked to sojurn to help celebrate 50 years of service at the sister church in Boston.
Resurrection Sunday was held at Chapin Chapel on the campus of Amherst College.
Men’s Day was March 9th and truly was a blessing to all who attended. “The impossible is possible every single day”. For with God nothing shall be impossible – Luke 1:37
The 2nd Annual Christmas Concert “There’s a Song in the Air” was a huge success. In addition, Christmas at Goodwin was also full of blessings and praise.
September 23rd was Missionary Sunday proving to be a spectacular event with Rev. Francine Wilson as the speaker.
Although many of us were sad to see Pastor Talley leave (assigned to our sister church in Worcester), in the summer of 2007 we welcome Alfred L. Johnson as the new Pastor of Goodwin Memorial AME Zion Church. Our first cookout found Pastor Johnson at the BBQ Grill and on the basketball court.
