“GIVING OUR BEST” was the theme for this years retreat. We defined this retreat as Ministry maintenance. The choir departed Goodwin at 6:45am and arrived at Westfield State College at 8am. Devotions was lead by Sis. Nancy Tolson. Reflection & Discussion on the Theme was facilitated by Sis Jacquelyn Smith-Crooks. The Nuts & Bolts: maing Sense of our administrative structure was facilitated by Bro. Trevor Hodge. Election of Officers followed and resulted in the same officers as last year. Sis. Tracy Sutherland (Pres), Sis Marisha Joyner (VPres), Sis Barbara Sutherland (Secy), Bro. Cyrus Cox (Tres), Sis Ophelia Sowers (Librarian). New robe fitting monitored by Sis. Marisha Joyner, Sis. Tracy Sutherland and Sis Nancy Tolson. Music folder organization was instructed by Sis Liz Skelton and Sis Opheila Sowers. Rehearsal followed and then the closing prayer and departure at 4:30pm. This retreat was truly a blessing giving many time to talk about their own commitment to the ministry and how being a part of the choir made them feel, giving our best to God. Thank you all for making this years retreat such a huge success. To God be the Glory!!
